48 volt alternator highest amperage?

I there a 48 volt alternator made that can produce 300+amps? If so where do I buy it? If not what is the most amps available at 48 volts?

You definitely don't want a 48 volt 300 amp alternator. A 48 volt alternator would melt the plates and case of a 12 volt battery within minutes! If you have a 48 volt battery system go for it.
